Hello, I’m Terri Negus (formally Terri Shanks), I am an Independent Celebrant based in Berkshire with over 23 years experience. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. After a very happy 21 years working in Sussex, I relocated to West Berkshire (Midgham) in October 2024. I now have the privilege of serving not only those in my home county of Berkshire, but also in the surrounding Counties of Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire.

However, I am always willing to travel further afield and have had the pleasure of conducting ceremonies on the Isle of Jura (Scotland), Ibiza and Bondi Beach (Australia).

I am passionate about creating ceremony and rituals, and whatever the occasion you may be looking to celebrate or commemorate, I promise to work closely with you to plan, write and deliver a totally personalised and unique ceremony for you or your loved one, which is exactly as you want it to be.

Your ceremony will have meaning, purpose and beauty, meaning it will be remembered for years to come for all the right reasons.

CELEBRANT TRAINING: I am very proud to also be the Founder & Director of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants (The largest organisation in the UK for Independent Celebrants). I am a highly experienced celebrant and trainer with a reputation for excellence. Since 2007 I have trained more than 1000 other celebrants, with my knowledge, passion and expertise being sought after not only from people throughout the UK but from many European countries as well as South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Dubai, USA, Canada and Trinidad.
